Interactive Educational Websites: http://pbskids.org/ http://www.studyisland.com/ http://www.funbrain.com/ http://www.playkidsgames.com/ http://www.teach-nology.com/web_tools/games/ http://funschool.kaboose.com/ http://www.primarygames.com/ http://www.arcademicskillbuilders.com/games/ http://www.educationworld.com/ http://www.glogster.com/ All of these websites are interactive games that can be beneficial to the student’s learning abilities. They all have different types of media that foster to the wants and desires of the students. They do not have any type of derogatory pictures or scenes that would be detrimental to the students. The overall basis of these websites is to actively engage students in the core curriculum subjects and appeal to them. The websites possess bright colors, cartoon figures, music and sound effects that are appropriate and creative for the students. I find these beneficial for teachers to use as follow-ups to their lessons where the students can have this technology reinforce as an aid. The glogster website, as we used in the course is the best website that I encountered this semester. It allows those who weren’t creative as far as drawing and painting, express themselves with premade pictures and images that were able to help with their web –based project.
